PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE...makes perfect

I've got to say sewing is definitely much harder than it seems. I started a pattern with Bubby and decided to to a little on my own. Lets just say I accidental sewed the pockets of the dress right side out. Then I sewed them twice around making them too thick to sew onto the dress...lol. 






I found a patter online from a blog that I have been following. It's supposed to be a clutch for diapers. A great gift idea for all my prego friends. I did it. It's not as nice looking as the original and I was afraid to put a button on, but I think it came out pretty cool.

    I ended up taking this class and learning so much from the teacher. I learned to sew on a zipper, how to use a 1/4 in foot, and how NOT to use the pedal.
